The photo above is that of Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC. In July 2007 I was asked to participate in the CIMAS (Carolina Institute for the Multicultural Approach to Science) program. The CIMAS program is a 3-week program dedicated to giving successful high school students a chance to learn science and math using a fun, hands-on approach.
